Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Cougars (13U) squad for winning Perfect Game’s Super 25 Regional this past weekend. The 13U Cougars lost their first game by a score of 6-5 on Friday night and therefore had to win the next three pool games to advance. Which they did! In game #3 of the weekend, the 13U Cougars were down 6-0 in the bottom of 3rd inning against a very good East Cobb Colt 45s team. The 13U Cougars went on to send 24 batters to the plate over the next two innings and saw 20 of those batters score. The 13U Cougars won the Super 25 Regional championship game by the final score of 3-1. Overall, the 13U Cougars finished with a 6-1 record on the weekend. Coach Sterling wanted to be sure to thank the select 6-4-3 DP Jaguars (13U) players that helped round out the tournament roster this weekend and contribute to the successful title run. Congratulations to the 6-4-3 players and coaches on their strong weekend performance!
