Starting tomorrow (7/20) five 6-4-3 DP Baseball teams will be competing in the US Club Nationals held in Marietta, Georgia, and hosted by Triple Crown Sports. 6-4-3 will be represented in the 9U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U age groups. The 6-4-3 staff wishes our teams the best of luck this week! More information about the tournament can be found below.
All 6-4-3 teams competing in the upcoming US Club Nationals will be wearing a special patch honoring and supporting Carson Rozsman. Carson played on the 9U Cougars team this season coached by John Forte. His older brother, Zak, played on the 12U Cougars team this season coached by Ric Bishop. Nine-year-old Carson was recently diagnosed with a malignant, inoperable brain tumor. Carson is currently in Memphis, Tennessee, at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital battling his aggressive cancer. The 6-4-3 staff and the entire 6-4-3 family are pulling for Carson every day (and particularly this week) during his treatment. STAY STRONG CARSON! WE ARE PLAYING FOR YOU! We are with you from afar!
Please keep the entire Rozsman family (Sophia = Mom, Zak = Dad, Zak, Carson and Luke) in your thoughts and prayers at this time. Please also know that a GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds for the Rozsmans to help with out-of-pocket expenses and, hopefully, reduce some level of anxiety during their intense and rapid response to Carson’s medical needs.
Tournament Information/Details:
The US Club Nationals will be held July 20-23, 2016, at the East Cobb Sports Complex and the Aviation Sports Complex in Marietta, Georgia. Triple Crown Sports has offered exclusive invitations to the country’s most highly skilled and rigorously organized baseball clubs to participate, where each club will send 4-6 teams, ages 9u-14u.
Teams compete in their division for the age-group title, but the final standings in all divisions will be factored into determining the TCS Organization National Champion.
