Congratulations to the 14U Jaguars squad for finishing runner-up in their first two tournaments of the year!
In their first tournament of the year, the 14U Jaguars faced off with the 6-4-3 DP Cougars 14U in the PG One Day Showdown Championship game. After a hard-fought battle and a great comeback by the Cougars, the Jaguars were defeated by the final score of 9-8! Representing the 14U Jaguars, CJ Gordon was named Pitcher MVP of the tournament! In addition, 14U Jaguars members Austin Cole, Justice Cromwell, CJ Gordon, Brendan Kelley, Demetrius McCants, Dominic Rutigliano, Marshall Toole and Anthony Williams were selected to the All-Tournament Team!
In their first Triple Crown tournament of the year, the 14U Jaguars won their first four games to earn a 4-0 record and a berth into the Championship game against the nationally ranked 14U Motor City Hit Dogs from Michigan. The Jaguars made a few to many mistakes against a very talented Hit Dogs team and came up short in the game with a loss by the score of 11-3.
