It is with heavy hearts that we report to you some very sad news inside the 6-4-3 DP Baseball family. Carson Rozsman died overnight surrounded by the love and presence of his devoted parents.
As many of you know, Carson played on the 2016 6-4-3 DP Cougars 9U team coached by John Forte last season. Last summer, nine-year-old Carson was diagnosed with a malignant, inoperable brain tumor. Since his diagnosis, Carson fought his aggressive cancer valiantly, full of courage, and with an impressive, positive attitude. While we deeply mourn the loss of Carson, a wonderful ambassador and teammate for 6-4-3, we also are grateful for his life and the impressive reminder he displayed to all - to face adversity with courage and tenacity.
At the 6-4-3 DP Baseball Awards Banquet in 2016, Carson was awarded the inaugural 6-4-3 Courage Award. The inscription on the award reads as follows: This award is a special honor given to an individual that demonstrates great strength in the face of adversity.
