Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Cougars (10U) squad for finishing runner-up in the Training Legends 11U Memorial Day Classic. The 10U Cougars finished with a 3-2 record playing several close games against very good opponents. Over five games in the event, the 10U Cougars collected 36 hits and tallied 36 runs as a team. The 10U Cougars used 11 different pitchers and 6 different catchers over the weekend. Head coach Brandon Swedelson was excited by the strong, full team effort. “As a team, we played great defense, we had timely hitting, we executed the small ball approach, and we hustled all weekend to produce a great set of games,” commented Swedelson.
