Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Jaguars 13U squad for winning the silver bracket of the Perfect Game Elite Showdown. The 13U Jaguars started the tournament with an 0-3 record in pool play and came back to win three straight contests on Sunday for the silver bracket championship.
Game two on Sunday was won in extra innings only after the Jaguars tied the game in the top of the 7th inning coming back from a 5-2 deficit. The Jaguars scored two runs in the 8th inning to take the lead and later held on for the win.
After advancing to the silver bracket championship, the Jaguars run ruled the ECB Yankees in the finale by the score of 12-1. The Jaguars were led on Sunday by solid pitching performances from Will Brown in game 1, Griffin Guinther in game 2 and Collin Hammond in game 3. Congratulations again to all the 13U Jaguars for their successful Sunday of action!
