Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Tigers 13U team for winning the Perfect Game Elite Showdown over the weekend. According to head coach Nelson Pedraza, the weekend was a success “due to the combined effort from all team members. Our pitching was outstanding along with superb defense and timely offensive at bats.” The great weekend of play for the 13U Tigers was highlighted by a big, extra-inning victory in the semifinal game against the talented Georgia Bombers and a three run 7th-inning in the championship game to beat the Home Plate Chilidogs (Copeland). For his contributions on the mound, Israel Rosseter received the Most Valuable Pitcher award for the tournament. Congratulations again to Israel and all the 13U Tigers for their strong weekend performance on the diamond!
