The 6-4-3 DP Baseball 8U Cougars team had a great weekend by earning a 3-1 overall record and finishing in second place within the gold bracket of the Training Legends Cobb Classic. In their second game of the tournament, the 8U Cougars scored two runs in the bottom of last inning to complete an exciting comeback win. In the semifinal game, the Cougars’ team defense and pitching lead them to a rare, one-hitter victory by the final score of 1-0. In the championship game, the 8U Cougars came up short against the talented Meridian Panthers. Congratulations to the 8U Cougars players and coaches for a great weekend of spring baseball!
