NOW FORMING: 6-4-3 Winter Hitting and Catching Clinics (ages 8-18)

6-4-3 DP Baseball invites players (ages 8 – 18) to participate in our Winter Hitting and Catching Clinics.  The events will contain drills and instruction to help hitters and catchers with their off-season training and better prepare them for the spring season. Clinics will be held at Aviation Sports Complex (455 Aviation Road, Marietta, GA 30060) and will be for players ages 8 – 18.

Winter Hitting Clinics

Dates:                 Saturdays - 12/3, 12/10, 12/17                             

Ages 8 – 12:        9:00am – 11:00am     

Ages 13 – 18:      11:30am – 1:30pm

Clinic sessions will include:

  • Drills that will allow players to warm-up while focusing on a mechanically sound swing
  • Front toss and live batting practice reps to focus on balanced, controlled swings while tracking the baseball aggressively
  • Discussions on the mental aspects of attacking pitchers and approach
  • Situational hitting (bunts, hit and run, and moving runners) and more!

*Price: 1 session = $90 per player

              3 sessions = $240 per player

*6-4-3 academy players can attend each session for $75 each, or $195 for all 3 hitting sessions. Residents of the City of Marietta (note: inside city limits) receive a 20% discount.
 

Winter Catching Clinics

Dates:                  Saturdays - 12/3, 12/10, 12/17                             

Ages 8 – 12:        2:00pm – 3:30pm     

Ages 13 – 18:      3:30pm – 5:00pm

Workout will include:

  • Basics including stances, signal calling, and proper set up
  • Drills focused on blocking and receiving the baseball properly
  • Footwork on throws for steals, bunts, and blocked balls
  • Discussions on communication and how to handle a pitching staff
  • Glove and gear maintenance, safety, and more!

*Price: 1 session = $90 per player

              3 sessions = $240 per player
