Earlier this summer, The 6-4-3 Foundation (the charitable arm of 6-4-3) shipped 100 care packages in a show of support to military personnel deployed in an undisclosed location. The care packages were created and personalized for members of the U.S. Army's Alpha Company. In 2015, The 6-4-3 Foundation launched its first Adopt A Soldier project with Alpha Company. In 2017, The 6-4-3 Foundation again sent care packages to Alpha Company. This past June, the foundation executed its third Adopt A Soldier project and built its largest shipment of care packages to date. The 100 decorated boxes in 2019 consisted of toothbrushes, razors, beef jerky, whey protein powder, granola bars, baby wipes, soap, candy, blanket, thank you letter, hand-written words of encouragement, and other items.
A special thank you is extended to the many generous donors who helped make this project possible (and in quick fashion). Also, a special thank you is extended to the many volunteers who gave their valuable time to help assemble the care packages quickly and successfully!
The 6-4-3 Foundation, the charitable arm of 6-4-3 DP Athletics, operates as an independent entity. The 6-4-3 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Georgia not-for-profit corporation. The foundation focuses on three primary areas of charitable support: scholarship assistance programs, community improvement and outreach efforts, and volunteer service projects.
