COACHES COMMENTS:
Zach is a very smart young man out of Mt. Paran who really knows how to pitch. He is a LHP and does not pitch outside his game. Zach commands three pitches and pitches backwards effectively. A student of the game, Zach can read hitters swings and body language, which allows him to throw the right pitch at the right time. His CH is very effective and extremely difficult to square up. His CB has good spin and he can throw it in to both sides, or bury it when necessary. Zach has made huge strides in the last year on the mound and is really pitching confidently. As Zach continues to get stronger, he will have options to pitch at the next level.
Zach has committed to play college baseball at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
