COACHES COMMENTS:
Baley is a big, strong RHP/1B out of South Paulding High School. On the mound, Baley will attack hitters with a fastball that has good velocity and late life down in the zone. He backs that up with a sharp breaking ball and a change-up that is developing into another weapon. At the plate, Baley is a strong hitter who has good feel for hitting to the opposite field. He works counts and competes with anyone he faces. Baley is agile for a big man and is a nimble and smooth 1B. He has the arm strength to play third and is athletic enough to play a corner OF position. Baley is a blue collar type player who shows up to get better every single day. Because of his approach to the game and his talents, Baley already has some good options in college and will have some good/tough decisions ahead.
Baley has committed to play college baseball at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia.
