COACHES COMMENTS:

Ben, a 2018 Pace Academy student, is highly intelligent both on and off the field.  Ben is a RHP that studies all aspects of pitching. He reads hitters’ swings, their body language, and uses this to execute good pitches in key situations.  He works quickly between pitches and is always one pitch ahead of the hitter.  His fastball is sneaky with good arm side run and he locates it well to both sides of the plate.  He commands his breaking ball extremely well and he can use it in any count.  He also throws a CH with confidence and has complete command of it.  As Ben continues to get stronger, he will have options to pitch at the college level. 

Ben has committed to play college baseball at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.
