COACHES COMMENTS:
Carter is a very strong athlete out of King’s Ridge Christian School with a very bright future on the mound. Carter is a RHP with a ton of upside. He has a very good frame that projects to add velocity and his arm action is extremely clean. He throws all 3 pitches in any count and has a good feel for how to attack hitters. His fastball has late life down in the zone and it rarely gets squared up. He throws it to all locations with ease and can get outs with this pitch alone. He throws a very good breaking ball with late life. It follows his FB plane and is a definite swing and miss pitch. His CH is very effective and plays off his fastball extremely well. He can use his CH to both RHHs and LHHs. As Carter continues to fill into his frame, he will be a huge part of a great college program.
Carter has committed to play college baseball with the College of Charleston.
