COACHES COMMENTS:
Griffin is a very exciting young athlete with very quick actions. A North Paulding High School product, he is a middle infielder who is also a big time CF. At the plate, Griffin has the ability to drive gaps while also knowing how to use his above-average speed. He knows how to get on base and creates havoc on the base paths. Unaware defenders are never safe with Griffin as he will push singles into doubles and doubles into triples. When playing MIF, he has extreme range and a quick release. He is comfortable on both sides of the bag and can be a difference maker defensively. In CF, Griffin covers a ton of ground and is a natural centerfielder too. As Griffin continues to get stronger, he will be a huge part of a top college program.
Griffin has committed to play college baseball with the University of South Carolina - Upstate in Spartanburg, SC.
