COACHES COMMENTS:
John is a down under LHP out of Marietta High School that has upside, with an advanced feel for pitching. He has a good fastball that projects to add more velocity as he continues to get stronger. It has good arm side run, and he can locate it to both sides of the plate. John’s breaking ball is a true out pitch that he can locate early in the count, or bury down and away from lefties and into a righty. John’s change-up gives him a third weapon that has good fade and finish. John is strong with his academics and will be a great option for colleges needing a lefty match-up guy, set-up guy, or closer.
John has committed to play baseball at East Georgia State College.
