6-4-3 DP Baseball celebrated its 2016-2017 season on August 20, 2017 with its annual awards banquet. The banquet was held at the Hilton Marietta Hotel & Conference Center in Marietta, Georgia. Birmingham-Southern College's head baseball coach, Jan Weisberg, was the featured speaker. The banquet was a wonderful event that celebrated the accomplishments of the 2017 6-4-3 academy teams and players.

A host of individual and team awards were awarded at the 2017 banquet. Consistent with 6-4-3’s focus on developing teamwork, three team awards were given out for the following categories: Team of the Year, Outstanding Tournament Performance, and Most Improved Team. The three team winners were:
