Since its creation in 2007, 6-4-3 DP Baseball has experienced many reasons to celebrate. In our relatively short existence as a best-in-class baseball academy, over 600 student-athletes (and counting) from 6-4-3 have earned the opportunity to play collegiate baseball! In addition, 35 players within the 6-4-3 organization have been selected in the MLB Draft from 2008-2024!
The 2024 MLB Draft (July 14-16) was another significant and historic event for the 6-4-3 organization. 2024 is the twelfth consecutive year that a 6-4-3 player/alum has been drafted! Three more 6-4-3 alums have earned the opportunity to play professionally with MLB organizations.
6-4-3 extends a hearty congratulations to Charlie Condon (6-4-3 Class of 2021 and OF/INF for the University of Georgia) for being selected 3rd overall in the 2024 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies. As a prep athlete, Condon played for the Walker School and 6-4-3 DP Baseball for many years. Condon is now the second highest player drafted in 6-4-3's history. Notes: Druw Jones was taken 2nd overall in the 2022 MLB Draft and is the highest drafted player in 6-4-3 history. Ty Floyd was taken 38th overall in the 2023 MLB Draft and is now the 3rd highest drafted player in 6-4-3 history. Drew Waters was taken 41st overall in the 2017 MLB Draft and is now the 4th highest drafted 6-4-3 player in the organization's history.
6-4-3 also extends a hearty congratulations to Marshall Toole (6-4-3 Class of 2021 and OF for Wofford College) for being selected in the 15th round of the 2024 MLB Draft by the New York Yankees with the 451st overall pick. As a prep athlete, Toole played for Decatur High School and 6-4-3 DP Baseball.
6-4-3 also extends a hearty congratulations to Parks Harber (6-4-3 Class of 2020 and 1B for the University of North Carolina) for being signed as a non-drafted free agent by the New York Yankees. As a prep athlete, Harber played for the Westminster School and 6-4-3 DP Baseball.
Being selected in the MLB Draft is a tremendous accomplishment and honor for hardworking, talented, and dedicated young men and their supportive families. The MLB Draft also offers a tremendous source of pride for the 6-4-3 DP Baseball organization when one our own is validated with an opportunity to become a professional baseball player. 6-4-3 is incredibly proud of the young men who have had their name called in the MLB Draft or earned a contract from an MLB team. #643pride #643pros
