6-4-3 DP Athletics is excited to announce the promotion of Rush Eskridge to General Manager effective January 1, 2024.

Over the past 2.5 years, Rush has served 6-4-3 very well in the Director of Instructional Services role.  Rush has also quickly contributed to the successful administration of our academy teams and many other general business needs.

Rush grew up in Marietta, attended Lassiter High School (LHS), and played on the 2006 state championship baseball team for the LHS Trojans.  Rush is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned his degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business.   Rush is a high energy, customer-oriented individual with a successful track record of leading operations throughout his career.

Please join us in congratulating Rush on this new opportunity with 6-4-3.  Led by Rush, a search is underway to hire a Manager of Instructional Services (a position that will report to Rush).

6-4-3 DP Athletics is also excited to announce the hiring of Myles Mitchell to the role of Events Manager effective January 1, 2024.

Over the past 6 years, Myles has served 6-4-3 in a series of part-time roles related to the tournament hosting business.  Myles has steadily shown his value to the company while progressing from a member of the field/concession crew to tournament director and to, most recently, senior tournament director for 6-4-3.

Myles grew up in Marietta and attended Marietta High School.  Myles is currently finishing his degree in Mathematics at Kennesaw State University.

Please join us in congratulating Myles on this new, full-time role with 6-4-3.

In other staff news, David Carr will be leaving his operations role with 6-4-3 in March of 2024.  Rush Eskridge, Jay Andrews, and Danny Pralgo will remain as the capable management team of 6-4-3.

Over the last 12 months, 6-4-3 has bolstered its existing staff with the hires of Tyler Blake (Manager of Facility & Grounds) and Myles Mitchell (Manager of Events) and the role expansions for Jake Pralgo (Baseball Operations), Austin Holloway (Baseball Operations), Eric Brasher (Baseball Operations), and Marshall Adams (Instructional Services).  The new additions to staff along with our existing and seasoned staff veterans – Rush Eskridge, TJ Pagan, Jamaal Hawkins, Brett Beasley, and Tucker Breen - will ensure 6-4-3’s continued success.

David Carr’s fingerprints are all over 6-4-3’s business units, facility, foundation, and staff.  For his many years of leadership and dedication to evolving the 6-4-3 organization successfully and with professionalism, we are extremely grateful.  Please join us in wishing David the very best in his future endeavors.  Lucky for us, David plans to remain on the board of The 6-4-3 Foundation.

Regards,

Jay Andrews and Danny Pralgo

Personal note from David Carr:

Launching 6-4-3 DP Baseball at Aviation Sports Complex has been a professional thrill for me.  I am grateful to Danny Pralgo, Jay Andrews, the 6-4-3 staff members (both past and present), and the many talented players, dedicated coaches, and supportive parents who have contributed to 6-4-3’s early and on-going success as a top-of-class baseball academy.  I thank you all for making 6-4-3 what it is today.  I leave my role in operations with immense satisfaction for what the 6-4-3 brand has become and for the collective dedication and effort over the years that made it so.  As a new chapter of life unfolds for my family, I will be cheering for 6-4-3 from afar.  I also look forward to continuing my volunteer work with The 6-4-3 Foundation.

With gratitude and pride,

David
