2023 Mother's Day Campaign Raises $8,000 to Strike Out Breast Cancer!

The 6-4-3 Foundation, with the help of the 6-4-3 DP Baseball families, is pleased to continue supporting It’s the Journey for the 13th year! Our tradition of honoring mothers, bringing awareness to an issue familiar to many, and raising money for breast cancer care remains an important part of our connection to the community. Each year, 6-4-3 players and families sport pink jerseys, shirts, and hats during the season and especially over Mother’s Day weekend to raise awareness for breast cancer care, prevention, and research. The 6-4-3 Foundation donates 100% of the proceeds from the sale of those items to It’s The Journey, a Georgia nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to breast care and reducing disparities to cancer outcomes.

This year The 6-4-3 Foundation raised $8,000 for the cause through the generosity of families across thirty 6-4-3 teams! Since The 6-4-3 Foundation was created in 2013, the organization has raised over $50,000 in an effort to strike out breast cancer (in addition to nearly $15,000 raised and donated by 6-4-3 teams prior to the foundation's existence). With $65,000 in funds raised by both organizations over 13 years, we are very proud of the impact made within our community and the support given by 6-4-3 families!  #643cares
