Touching base during these challenging and uncertain times

Marietta, Georgia (Cobb County)

Dear 6-4-3 DP Baseball academy team members, families and friends,

We hope this message finds you and your extended family well.  With the announcement yesterday from Gov. Kemp that public schools will remain closed through the end of the school year, we wanted to touch base and share our own thoughts with you.  First, we are hopeful that the spring season for our 8-14U teams will resume sometime soon in future months.  Second, we are hopeful that the spring season for our 15-18U teams will begin sometime in May.  Third, even if teams cannot practice and compete together at this time, we are hopeful that private lessons with 6-4-3 can resume (with the necessary precautions) in the coming weeks.  Lastly and most importantly, we are thinking about your health and our staff’s health as a top priority.  Please continue to practice good hand hygiene.  Please continue to practice proper social distancing.  Please remain vigilant about your health.

We know you are missing baseball.  We certainly are too.  In this unprecedented and uncertain time, we all need to hang in there, be patient with the public health restrictions in place, take care of ourselves and one another, and remain hopeful that our baseball lives will resume when the time is right.

We pledge to stay in touch with you to share our thoughts, plans and latest decisions.

The Staff of 6-4-3 DP Baseball
