The 6-4-3 Foundation launches 2020 COVID-19 Response Fund for local community

Marietta, Georgia (Cobb County)

We have an unexpected opportunity to make a significant impact.

The 6-4-3 Foundation was started in 2013 to simply do good deeds and make a difference in our community. As a small non-profit organization, we have donated to local charities, facilitated service projects, and impacted children and families in need both inside the 6-4-3 organization and in the surrounding community. Now we have an unexpected opportunity to make a timely and positive impact in a time of great need.

With the Coronavirus pandemic causing havoc and distress in our nation and in the State of Georgia, there are vulnerable populations of Americans/Georgians facing serious challenges. For many, there is worry about adequate healthcare and safety, employment, financial security and/or food scarcity. Fortunate to be in a position to help, today The 6-4-3 Foundation is launching its COVID-19 Response Fund to direct needed resources to important causes in Marietta and the Greater Atlanta area.

The 6-4-3 Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund will support five (5) local initiatives and non-profits doing important work in areas of need made more challenging due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The five initiatives/non-profits working with at-risk and disadvantaged populations in our city and state are as follows:
Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb – providing medical and health services in Cobb County
Operation HOPE – providing financial knowledge, education and assistance for individuals and businesses (nationwide but headquartered in Atlanta)
Sweetwater Mission – providing food and clothing assistance to low-income residents of Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties
Healthcare Heroes ATL – providing meals to frontline healthcare workers
Marietta City Schools - providing delivered meals to students in need and erasing school lunch debt for struggling families (Lunch Angels fund); offering resources for social workers in schools to assist families in emergency (MCS Cares fund)

Please join in our response with unprecedented action for this unprecedented time in all our lives. In an effort to double the impact of your generous donations to the COVID-19 Response Fund, The 6-4-3 Foundation will match all gifts dollar-for-dollar until matching funds run out. The 6-4-3 Foundation has designated $15,000 in matching funds for this important response to need in our local community.
