Summer Food Drive Underway to Stock the Marietta Student Life Center Pantry

Summer Food Drive Underway to Stock the Marietta Student Life Center Pantry

Marietta, Georgia (Cobb County)

One of The 6-4-3 Foundation’s initiatives is to contribute towards organizations within our community that serve to better the lives of those in need. For the third year, we are collecting food and household items to help stock the Student Life Center (SLC) pantry at Marietta High School (MHS). While the pantry is housed at MHS, it serves the entire Marietta City Schools community.

Where do the 6-4-3 DP Baseball families come in? As an extension of teaching the game of baseball, The 6-4-3 Foundation seeks to teach the 6-4-3 players about the rewards of giving to their communities and what a difference a culture of philanthropy can do for others. To this end, we are asking for each family to consider donating items from the list below. Labeled collection bins will be placed near the concession stand at Aviation Sports Complex (455 Aviation Road, Marietta) Mondays through Thursdays starting today until June 22.

The Marietta Student Life Center needs the following supplies:

Oatmeal/pop tarts

Energy bars/trail mix

Microwaveable pasta/soup/chili/stew/rice

Applesauce/fruit cups

Peanut Butter or Cheese cracker sandwiches

Peanut Butter

Jelly/jam

Vienna Sausages

Ramen Noodles

Toiletries (lotion, deodorant, toothbrushes/paste)

Cleaning Products (dish soap, laundry detergent, all purpose cleaner)

Donate Today!

Drop off your individual/family donations in the SLC labeled collection bins at Aviation Sports Complex (455 Aviation Road, Marietta, GA 30060) now through June 22.  If you prefer to donate funds today to The 6-4-3 Foundation for this cause, please click the donate icon below to process your donation quickly, easily and securely through PayPal.  Every donation will make a positive difference regardless of size.
