COACHES COMMENTS:
Evan is a true utility baseball player. Evan can play pretty much anywhere on the field, but stands out behind the plate, in the infield, and on the mound. Behind the plate he does a good job working hard for our pitchers with an excellent catch and throw. Offensively, he is a switch hitter with juice from both sides. He does a good job of getting his swings off early in counts but then grinds out at-bats when he gets two strikes. In the infield he has soft hands with quick feet allowing him to play 3B, SS, or 2B. Evan is a high IQ baseball player which makes him stand out. He will be exciting to follow as he continues to get better.
