COACHES COMMENTS:
Sam is a switch-hitting outfielder with a lot of athletic ability. He has advanced range and speed in the outfield that allows him to make highlight catches. Sam’s arm strength is often on display and throws baserunners out because of his accurate arm. At the plate, he has good feel for the barrel and sprays the ball to all parts of the field. When he gets down in counts at times, he has a toughness in him and grinds out ABs with two strikes always making him a tough out. Sam will be fun to watch in the coming years.
