COACHES COMMENTS: 

Cooper is a fluid moving lefty-lefty that excels on the mound and at the plate. Cooper has a lefty swing that stays in the zone and uses the whole field. He demonstrates the ability to shut his lower half down and depend on his hands when he gets fooled making him a tough out at the plate. Cooper moves well in the outfield and displays an arm with good carry that will throw out plenty of baserunners. On the mound, Cooper is crafty and rarely gets squared up. He pitches backwards with the best of them and features two different breaking balls. His fastball has some arm-side run that allows him to get inside barrels even when he misses over the plate. Cooper has a lot of upside and possesses the ability to play at the next level on the mound or in the field.
