COACHES COMMENTS:
Jon Walker is a 5’9 L/R Corner IF/RHP. As he trends to project to play more 1B, his ability to play low, and work through baseballs with a strong arm, proves his versatility at both positions. Has a RHP, he demonstrates great poise and command of the game. With his FB attacking hitters early in counts and ranging from 74-77mph with the ability to mix multiple off-speed pitches, he does a great job of keeping hitters off-balance. From the left side of the plate, he shows great bat speed and tremendous power. As he can work all parts of the field, his swing translates to multiple XBH’s.
