COACHES COMMENTS:
Lane is a R/L OF/LHP/1B. As he translates to play mostly outfield, he is the prototypical CF. With crazy athleticism, strength for his size, and speed to match, he commands the CF position well and in turn, the entire defense. On the mound, he shows a FB ranging from 73-75mph and has feel for his off-speed. As a RHH, he possesses a great approach to work counts and find ways on base through hits through the infield and XBH’s to the gaps. He also is a great threat on the bases as a base stealer and from his IQ.
