Eli is a hard-nosed, athletic outfielder with a compact swing that creates loud barrels. He has an aggressive approach in the box and creates a ton of leverage out front. His plus speed and barrel control makes him a great piece in a lineup. In the outfield, Eli gets good jumps off the bat and covers a ton of ground. He has the ability to put his head down and go get a baseball which makes him a CF type that can play any OF spot. His arm strength plays well as he makes low, accurate throws that backspin and carry. Eli also shows upside on the mound, with a solid three-pitch mix. He commands a high spin-rate fastball to both sides of the plate well and has natural movement that makes hitters uncomfortable. He has late-bite to his breaking ball that tunnels well with the heater. Eli is a live arm around the zone that keeps hitters off balanced. Eli is an extremely focused kid and with a motor that stands out. As he continues to develop and mature, look for Eli to make some noise this coming summer and work towards finding a home at a strong program.
