COACHES COMMENTS:
Zach is a super intelligent student-athlete out of Dunwoody High School. Zach is a very talented player who is an ace on the mound. Zach has a fastball that jumps at hitters and produces many broken bats. He does a great job of commanding the inside half of the plate and also trusts his off speed in any count. His breaking ball is above-average with good, two-plane break and can miss bats. He works extremely quick and is always in control on the mound. In the infield, Zach can play MIF and 3B. He has soft hands and slows the game down well. At the plate, Zach has a short, compact swing. He works counts well and does a great job of competing each plate appearance. As Zach continues to mature physically, he will be a big addition to a top program.
Zach has committed to play college baseball with the University of Chicago.
