COACHES COMMENTS:
Carson is a very instinctual player that has a very high baseball IQ. Carson is an elite catcher that is a bulldog behind the plate. He does a very good job receiving and controls the run game extremely well. He has great footwork behind the plate paired with a plus arm that leaves no doubt his future at the next level is behind the plate. Carson is also athletic enough to play 2B or 3B demonstrating great feel for either position. Offensively, he has a next level approach and always has an idea of what he is trying to accomplish at the plate. He has a smooth swing from the right side and is never overmatched, allowing him to constantly put together quality at bats. Carson is a very hard worker, exceptional athlete and a great teammate that you want in your program.
