COACHES COMMENTS:

Bascunan is a lengthy 6’0” that shows tremendous pitch ability. Bascunan offers a three pitch mix of a heavy FB, CB, and CH. Bascunan has the ability to throw all three pitches for strikes at any count and his makeup on the mound is outstanding. His FB has late life that gets on hitters quickly and has much more in the tank as he continues to develop. He has demonstrated excellent command of both his off-speed pitches and producing consistent soft contact. Bascunan continues to improve each year and this year expect nothing less.
