COACHES COMMENTS:
Houston is an outfielder and LHP, who loves to compete. In the outfield he takes good angles, approaches ground balls with efficient footwork and has an above average arm. At the plate, Houston has a whole field approach, and the power is coming, with continued added strength. This fall he showed that gap to gap pop. On the mound, he doesn’t throw anything that is straight. As a LHP, his curveball is devastating against left handed hitters, but is also good enough to give right handers fits. He is a two sport athlete who plays football so we are excited to see him this summer when he is in full baseball mode.
