COACHES COMMENTS:
Hudson is a middle infielder with high level glove actions and advanced footwork. Hudson attacks balls and creates good hops. His soft hands work well out front and create a silky-smooth transfer which puts him in a great spot to throw. Hudson’s arm plays at any infield spot, as he can mix up his arm slots and angles depending on what the play dictates. At the plate, Hudson competes in the box and does a nice job getting his bat in the zone early. His simple movements help Hudson work inside the baseball as he looks to drive line drives to all fields. As Hudson continues to add physicality and increase his baseball IQ, he will be a great fit for the right college program. Hudson also pitches and had a great fall in 2023 on the mound. He sits 82-84 with room to grow with his FB and has a really good CB and CH to go along with it.
