COACHES COMMENTS:

Matthew is a good athlete that plays corner outfield, 3B, and can also pitch. His footwork and reads on balls allow him to play both positions very well. Matthew’s arm plays very well from the outfield. On offense Matthew has worked hard to improve his swing and it shows. Present pop to all fields and a great situational hitter. He can be an offensive threat.  On the mound, Matthew has a great arm and the “stuff” to be dominant. His fastball/changeup combination can be filthy when on and he is working hard on feel for his breaking ball.
