Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Tigers 17U squad for winning the 17U Perfect Game Fall Georgia State Championship last weekend!  This is the 17U Tigers third tournament championship appearance in a row and first championship win of the fall season!  Over the weekend, the Tigers earned a perfect 4-0 record in the tournament.  Exciting wins included a walk-off comeback victory in their second pool play game of the tournament (final score of 10-9) and an extra inning contest in the championship game (final score of 6-4).

Parker Beard won the Most Valuable Pitcher award for the tournament. In his semifinal game start, Beard pitched a complete game shutout in 77 pitches. He gave up three hits with five strikeouts and only one walk.

Sam Corso and Jake Medley led the way offensively for the Tigers. Together they combined for seven hits including two extra base hits and 10 RBI.
