COACHES COMMENTS:

Charlie is a LHP out of Milton High School and draws comparisons to a former 6-4-3 great, Austin Higginbotham. Like “Higgy”, Charlie has a three pitch mix that can dominate good line-ups. His fastball has solid velocity that plays up because of his ability to locate on both sides of the plate. His breaking ball has good depth and sharp bite, and he follows that up with an above-average change-up that can miss bats. Charlie has simple and repeatable mechanics, and can work efficiently, thus allowing him to work deep in games. As he keeps developing, Charlie can be a frontline pitcher for a number of programs at the next level.

Charlie has committed to play college baseball at Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
