COACHES COMMENTS:
Charlie has a ton of upside in this game. In the infield, Charlie has good hands and shows off a plus arm across the diamond. At first base, he gives you a very athletic option as he works the bag very well. In the outfield, Charlie takes good angles with plus arm strength. At the plate, Charlie has light tower power, as he hit 7 home runs in his 17u summer. His at-bats are very impressive. He finds himself in good hitter’s counts often and does not chase out of the zone very much. He shows great discipline at the plate. He has a great approach at the plate that leads to high average as well as high power numbers. He is a great addition to the middle of anyone’s lineup.
Charlie has committed to play college baseball at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
