COACHES COMMENTS:

Peyton is a very talented and smart baseball player who brings a lot to any team on the mound. As a left-handed pitcher, he throws a heavy fastball that he has peaked at 88 (while sitting in the mid-80s) and compliments it with a plus changeup. Peyton has the ability to, and has, shut down any offense with just these two pitches. He does an outstanding job of commanding both sides of the plate with his fastball and keeps hitters off balance with his changeup. He can throw his curveball very effectively for strikes, while also using it as an out pitch to lefties. Peyton has also developed a slider that has become an out pitch to both lefties and righties. Defensively, Peyton is an above average first basemen. He has exceptional hands and works the bag very well. At the plate, Peyton does a great job with situational hitting. In addition, he battles in the box and does a good job of competing every pitch. As Peyton continues to get stronger, he will have the chance to be very successful at the next level.

Peyton has committed to play college baseball at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
