COACHES COMMENTS:
Matt is a tremendous athlete with good size who plays a very good OF, hits, runs well (6.6 60yd), and is a power arm on the mound. He has good size and strength that will benefit all aspects of his game. He has a big bat that can hit in the middle of any lineup with the potential to raise his contact hitting to another level. In the outfield, he has plus speed to go with a power arm and can also track them down and throw them out with the best of them. On the mound, he is a dominating presence. As he continues to work on his command, he has a chance to be a difference maker on the mound.
Matt has committed to play college baseball at Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia.
