COACHES COMMENTS:
Rowan is a physical athlete with good size. He is a RHP that attends Walton HS. Rowan is 6' 1" with more room to grow and fill out. He is a starter on the mound that can go deep in games and also can be a closer out of the pen because of his make-up and stuff on the bump. FB has been up to 86, sitting 82-84. Rowan has a filthy CH that he uses very frequently in any count. In his 17u summer, Rowan threw 40.2 IP and had a .172 ERA. As he continues to grow, Rowan will have a chance to be an impact arm at a strong college program.
Rowan has committed to play baseball at Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tennessee.
