COACHES COMMENTS:
Sims Delong is a right handed pitcher. He is 6’3” and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Sims has a very lean and projectable frame. He has ran his FB up to 92 mph on Rapsodo, and there is only more to come. His FB has some serious arm side movement with a plus arsenal behind it. He has very high spin rates on his CB and SL. His CH is a very effective pitch for him especially against lefties. Sims hasn’t even tapped into what he is capable of on the mound. Sims is committed to Washington and Lee University
