Boomer is a big body player with a strong lower half. He has a very high Baseball IQ, and competitive drive. Boomer has leadership qualities that are very high. He has a high 3/4 arm slot that  gets downhill and he repeats well. The ball comes out clean with late sink to his arm side with heavy ad late life. His slider is his out pitch and he gets swing and misses a lot. He is a strike thrower that attacks hitters and controls the pace of game. He is a solid defensive 1B and is good around the bag, with quiet hands for a big guy. He moves well in the field and is looking to take the extra bsae when he can. At plate he is upright with high hands and strides out and on time. He has power to the pull side and can hit to the backside well. He puts alot of balls in play and will foul off pitches to battle. While he has a bright future on the mound, he could be a possible two way at next level.
