COACHES COMMENTS:
Like a swiss army knife, Mike can contribute in many different ways. In the field, Mike has plus actions in the infield which allows him to play SS, 2B and 3B. He also takes good angles to go with a strong arm in the outfield. At the plate, Mike has an up the middle approach that will serve him well as he progresses and has strength to all fields with gap to gap power. On the bump, Mike is a competitor that possesses command of all his pitches and contributes in all role on the pitching staff when needed. As a baserunner he sees the game well and makes smart, aggressive reads. His tools and energy will excite college coaches.
