6-4-3's 18U Cougars and 15U Cougars show well in PG Fall World Series

Marietta, Georgia (Cobb County)

In the Perfect Game Fall World Series, a strict invite only tournament limited to the top teams throughout the nation, 6-4-3 DP Baseball had two teams finish 3rd place in their respective age groups. 

The 15U Cougars went 4-1 in the World Series including impressive wins over the talented Canes National 15U and Dirtbags 15U squads.  Griffin Long led the team in batting average going .556 on the weekend. Frankie Boyle led the team in doubles with three along with batting .455 with over a .500 OBP on the weekend. Amaree Griffin led the team in hits with 9 along with having a batting average and OBP of .500 or over.  Amaree Griffin also had an excellent tournament on the mound. With 6.1 innings pitched, he only gave up one earned run with 10 strikeouts and just two walks on the weekend. Anderson Easom also showed strong on the mound with 5.1 innings pitched. He gave up zero runs on the weekend allowing only two hits, one walk and had 7 strikeouts.

The 18U Cougars went 3-1 in the World Series including impressive wins over Knights National 18U and the White Sox Scout Team.  Ethan Hall and Brock Clements led the team in hits on the weekend combining for 10. They also scored a combined 9 runs on the weekend while driving in 4 runs and only three strikeouts. Boomer Dunn had an excellent weekend on the mound for the 18U Cougars, he pitched 5.0 innings with seven strikeouts and gave up only one earned run.
