On behalf of the entire 6-4-3 DP Baseball organization and its wide reaching family, the 6-4-3 staff is thrilled to relay news that Andrew Jenkins, 6-4-3 Class of 2019 and All-American first baseman at Georgia Tech, was drafted by the Detroit Tigers with the 267th overall pick (9th Round) in the 2022 MLB Draft. 6-4-3 is incredibly proud of Andrew and this impressive personal accomplishment in his journey as a ballplayer.

Andrew was a standout student-athlete at Pace Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, and a member of 6-4-3 academy teams from the age of 14 to 18. As a player at 6-4-3, Andrew was a two-time selection to the 6-4-3 All Offensive Team (2015 & 2016), the 2016 15U Cougars Offensive Player of the Year, and the 2018 17U Cougars Offensive Player of the Year.
Andrew is the second 6-4-3 alum drafted by the Detroit Tigers in as many years. In 2021, the Tigers drafted Andrew's Georgia Tech teammate, Brant Hurter (LHP / 6-4-3 Class of 2017).
