6-4-3 DP Baseball is very excited and very proud to share 2023 recaps and 2024 season updates for 6-4-3 alumni currently playing professionally with MLB clubs and their affiliates! Five (5) 6-4-3 alumni are currently in big league camps (1 on active roster, 4 as non-roster invitees). In total, fourteen (14) 6-4-3 alumni are currently competing in MLB or MiLB Spring Training camps. As spring training continues its kick off week, we wish all of our #643pros the very best of luck in the new season:
 
In 2023, Waters finished his second year at the major league level with the Kansas City Royals. He played in 98 games. The Royals outfielder collected 69 hits including 11 doubles, 5 triples, 8 homeruns and 32 RBI. Waters also scored 40 runs and tallied 16 stolen bases on the year.
Waters is currently on the Kansas City Royals active roster and in big league camp for 2024 spring training.

In 2023, Emanuel completed his tenth year of professional baseball and finished with the Pittsburgh Pirates' AAA affiliate in Indianapolis. The left-handed pitcher, who made his MLB debut in 2021 with the Houston Astros, went 7-5 on the year and pitched a total of 85.1 innings. Emanuel made starts in 13 of his 21 games pitched on the year and had 78 strikeouts.
Emanuel was recently signed by the Miami Marlins and assigned to AAA Jacksonville.
 
In 2023, Guenther finished his year in AAA with the Detroit Tigers organization. Guenther had a strong year, mostly in relief, for the Toledo Mud Hens. He pitched in 39 games, started 6 of them, and logged a total of 50.2 innings pitched. Guenther, who made his MLB debut in 2021 with the Miami Marlins, posted an ERA of 3.55 and a 1.11 WHIP in 2023. He also had 62 strikeouts on the year while only surrendering 12 walks.
Guenther is a non-roster invitee to 2024 spring training with the Detroit Tigers.

Carson Taylor (OF/INF)
In 2023, Taylor spent his third year of professional baseball with the Tulsa Drillers, the AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The catcher played in 77 games for the Drillers. Taylor collected 55 hits in 2023 including 10 home runs, 5 doubles and 1 triple. Taylor also contributed 26 RBI and scored 35 runs on the year.
Taylor was recently picked up by the Philadelphia Phillies and assigned to AAA Lehigh Valley. Taylor has been working very hard this offseason to fully transition as a corner outfielder and corner infielder.
 
Tyler Tolve (C/OF)
In 2023, Tolve completed his third year of professional baseball in AA with the Mississippi Braves. The former Kennesaw State University Owl played in 50 games for the M-Braves, mostly at the catcher position. He batted .238 with a .698 OPS. Tolve also logged 7 home runs, 9 doubles and 32 RBIs on the year. At the end of the regular season, Tolve was selected to participate in the Arizona Fall League, an off-season league filled by the top prospects in baseball hand-picked by major league clubs. After the AFL season’s end, Tolve was listed as a Top-30 prospect in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Tolve is a non-roster invitee to 2024 spring training with the Atlanta Braves.
 
Ryan Webb (LHP)
In 2023, Webb spent his second year of professional ball with the Lake County Captains, the A+ affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. Webb threw 86.2 innings in 19 games as a starter for the Captains with a 3.22 ERA. The former UGA Bulldog and Pope High School Greyhound struck out 87 batters on the year and posted a 1.26 WHIP. The Guardians selected Webb to participate in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) at the end of the regular season where he was one of the top pitchers in the league. He led the AFL in strikeouts (36) over the regular season while also leading the league in innings pitched (22). Webb was also in the top 10 statistically for batting average against.
 
In 2023, Hurter spent his year with the Erie Seawolves, the AA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. Hurter was a prominent piece of the Seawolves’ pitching staff. He made an appearance in 26 games, all as starter, while accumulating 118 innings pitched and 6 wins on the year. Hurter posted a 3.28 ERA to go along with a 1.19 WHIP. The former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket also had 133 strikeouts compared to 33 walks in 2023. Hurter was one of the aces that led the Seawolves to an Eastern League Championship in 2023. In game 2 of the championship series, Hurter pitched seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and only surrendered three hits. Hurter was selected as a Double-A All-Star by Baseball America and a postseason All-Star by EAS. He was also recognized as an organizational All-Star by MiLB.com. After completing his second year in professional ball, Hurter is currently ranked the #12 best prospect in the Detroit Tigers organization.

Ellard is entering his fourth year of pro ball with the Chicago White Sox organization. Ellard finished in AA with the White Sox organization last season.

Harris is entering his fourth year of pro ball with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. Harris finished in AA with the Dodgers organization last season.
 
Jenkins is entering his third year of pro ball with the Detroit Tigers organization. Jenkins finished in High A with the Tigers organization last season.
 
Jones is entering his second year of pro ball with the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.  Jones played at Rookie & A-level with the Diamondbacks organization last season.
 
Sullivan is entering his second year of pro ball with the Washington Nationals organization, Sullivan pitched at Rookie & A-level with the Nationals organization last season.
 
Emener is entering his second year of pro ball with the Colorado Rockies organization. Emener pitched at the Rookie level with the Rockies organization last season.
 
Ty is entering his first season of pro ball with the Cincinnati Reds organization. Floyd was drafted 38th overall by the Reds in the 2023 MLB Draft after winning a NCAA national championship with LSU.
