6-4-3's Andrew Herlitz commits to play baseball with Birmingham-Southern College

Marietta, Georgia -

With great excitement and pride, 6-4-3 DP Baseball announces that Andrew Herlitz (Class of 2019) has committed to play college baseball at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.  The entire 6-4-3 staff congratulates Andrew on his achievement and wishes him the very best on his continued journey as a standout student-athlete.  In 2018, Andrew was the recipient of the Carson Rozsman Courage Award* for his displays of toughness and strong character while grieving the unexpected loss of an immediate family member.  The Carson Rozsman Courage Award is a special honor given to an individual that demonstrates great strength in the face of adversity.  Andrew will soon join his 6-4-3 classmates, Camden McNearney, Chase Otten, Tyler Shultz and Will Lantis, as the newest additions to a long (and growing) list of talented players to graduate from the 6-4-3 ranks and play for the BSC Panthers and Coach Jan Weisberg.

*The Carson Rozsman Courage Award both honors and remembers the life of 6-4-3 alum, Carson Rozsman. Carson lost his brave battle with inoperable brain cancer on March 1, 2017.  Carson was ten years old.

Note: BSC commits Chase Otten and Andrew Herlitz were both recipients of the Carson Rozsman Courage Award.  Chase in 2017 and Andrew in 2018.
