Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Cougars 12U team for taking the top spot in the PG Sunday Series #8 (Diamond Bracket) earlier this month (11/8). The 12U Cougars earned a 3-0 record in the 20-team tournament. Jon Walker Brown earned Most Valuable Pitcher honors for the tournament, allowing no baserunners over 4 innings of work. The team overcame an early 7-run deficit in the championship game, with the help of a grand slam by Jarrell Reynolds, Jr., to emerge victorious by the final score of 14-9. Congrats again to the 12U Cougars players and coaches!
