Dominant pitching performances combined with timely hitting proved once again to be the successful formula for the 6-4-3 DP Cougars 12U squad as they won the Perfect Game Southeast Memorial Day Classic Gold Championship. A perfect 3-0 record in pool play set up an exciting Memorial Day which saw the 12U Cougars enter as the #2 seed and beat a quality #1 seed in the Championship. Once again, the Cougars thrilled with a final inning come-from-behind, walk-off victory in the semifinal, and a gutsy win in the finals to conclude the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record.
